More Details: Gained a day on route to USA due to time zones. Notice that there is no one around – that is a big plus. Connector flight from San Fran to Redmond lost in rescheduling so picked up rental vehicle instead which was better. (Original flight plan would have had us waiting for 8 hours for a connecting flight. Wouldn’t want to sit around in a public airport waiting for that anyway.) Arrived home safely and all ok! What an ‘awesome’ trip as Jade would say! Can’t wait to go back to New Zealand again!
