Invercargill Bagpipers and drive to Te Anau

03/14/20

HI. Today we said goodbye to Immy and Strawberry the cat and went to the bagpipe parade. Then went to the campground in Te Anau. THE END.
P.S. We saw crona virus signs for the first time.

More Details: Left campground with goodbye’s to Immy and Vicky. Drove to Invercargill and heard the loud music through the streets of the city. Followed out ears and landed upon a great parade and subsequent multi-day competition. Alas we could not remain as we had to be in Te Anau by tomorrow. Jade liked seeing all the girls her age in their kilts and playing music.

Invercargill Bagpiper Festival Competition. Male and female bagpipers of all ages.
The parade was loud and impressive!

Late celebration of Steve’s Birthday – finally somewhere we could buy a cake!
