Today we left Dunedin and it was raining. Then we drove and drove and got to the vister center and then we got to the playground. me and my dad did obstikle course. Then we went to the campground and we had pasta for dinner.
More Details: Set off in the rain on route to see the sea lions near the town of Owaka. first stop in town at Teapotland! A monument to teapots – literally piled up in someone’s yard. then to our old favorite snack shack, “Bake House Takeaways” where you can purchase fish and chips or a mean curry! Onward to Newhaven campground along the coast where we have stayed before. Excellent jumping point to walk the beaches and observe sea lions. Campground under new ownership with a hospitable couple, NZ man and Canadian woman who used to work in Vancouver hospital the same time I did!
