Today we went fishing. I cot 11 fish all of them were called Perch. We cot lobster too in New Zealand. They call lobster crayfish. We had a fun time fishing.
Ocean fishing-yaaa! Steve the captain of the Rodfather boat. Jade , Steve and I and one other gent on the boat. Took precautionary sea sickness pills – good thing as there were some good swells. Stopped to pull up one crayfish trap. Measured them to ensure they were of size and were able to keep 3/8. We would drop the lines between 180-210 feet. We used powered reels so it would auto wind back up! How lazy for us huh! Jade and Steve caught most of the perch and a couple for me. I had to throw back an unmentionable number of perch as they were undersized.
