We went looking for round, white rocks on the beach before we left. We started driveing to Kaikoura and we stopped at this loobster shak. And I got to have a hot choclet with 2 marshmelows. After that stopped at another place with about 200 fur seals. We finally got to Kiwi camp ground with a pool and hot tubs.
More details: Walked into town center and booked our excursions for the next 3 days. Love this place. It is where 2 tectonic plates meet and create a 1200 m+ canyon just a half km off shore. Perfect environment for sperm whales, sea life etc. Last earthquake Of 7.4 magnitude was in the area in 2016 causing an uplift along shoreline in some areas as much as 2 + meters. Great seafood, walks on ocean bluffs, etc.
