Started morning with Valentine’s breakfast! Went on a short hike with campground regional park to a river where Jade and Steve felt the need to jump in! Jade found a beautiful Jade pendant along the river. Cold water poured on self = shower! Cliff side curvy scenic drive towards Wellington to catch Interislander Ferry at noon.
Cook Strait crossing Uneventful and calm! Arrived at port in a Picton and headed down road after filling up with gas, approximately $2.08 -$2.16/litre.
Planning to stay several nights in Marlborough wine region near Blenheim.
