Morning cruise along New Plymouth’s expansive Oceanside boulevard on electric scooters! Steve and Jade hanging at ocean for more frigid water body slamming-oops-bodysurfing! I jogged on boulevard towards city center.
Jade even convinced me to go into Ocean with her. So what if I couldn’t feel my legs after and my fingers were turning blue! Ha She remained unaffected.
Late afternoon we walked to town and back. Had an Oceanside beverage on route. Jade loved her iced choc milk with a gob of ice cream in it. Tried to go into one restaurant but they said they were preparing to close -8:30 pm on a Friday night! A wee bit early! Returned back to camp and we drove off in search of a pizza.. Dominos pizza for $5.00! The cheapest food I’ve found to date here!
Jade’s Highlights: electric scooters, “bottom rolling suffocator” (being tossed around under big waves), & iced chocolate milk + pizza.
